How to Set PIN for Debit Card Using ATM
This is the most common method of setting the PIN of your debit card and it involves visiting your nearest ATM. When you first get your debit card, it has a default PIN which is printed inside the sealed envelope with your card.
Note that when you set your PIN for the first time, most banks require you to visit their own ATM. You need to visit your bank’s ATM within a stipulated number of days to activate your card using the ATM. If you surpass this time frame, the default PIN gets invalid.
