I called A+ Garage Doors after moving into a new house and realizing I needed an upgrade. They came out the next day, were right on time, and took time first to make sure my existing door could handle what I was asking to be done. I know that sounds like a sales tactic, but the things they recommended were great, and the door is so quiet and smooth after their work on it. Kasey and John Luke were very friendly, very respectful, and did a great job! We had a little trouble with the wifi, but that's a "me" problem, not them.I would recommend them!

I had A + Garage Doors in today to lube and tune my garage doors. Rich Ford was the technician, and he was so great!! Rich was on time, and very efficient and thorough. On top of that, he was friendly and kind!!!Over the years, I have had A + do quite a few jobs for me. I always go back to them when I need work done on my garage doors. The guys, Sawyer and his helper, did a great job with my garage door issue. Luke was awesome. He came over and diagnosed the problem right away and explained in detail what went wrong with my garage door and what needed to be fixed. He also went above and beyond that to point out other things on the door that I might want to replace soon so that those parts didn’t fail in the near future. He showed me exactly why it was wearing out and where it was. He then showed me a few costs sheets that he had put together with the best equipment to the lowest ones and the prices associated with each. He was great and so very knowledgeable about everything he was doing. When I call them again for any maintenance needs in the future, I’ll be requesting to have Luke do the job.

I am on the board of, and live in, a condominium community in downtown Salt Lake City. Our unsecured two level parking garage had become a very big problem with crime and homelessness. We lived with these issues for years because trying to find a solution that satisfied the exacting standards of our residents and HOA board was beyond difficult. Not to mention we weren’t sure the space could even accommodate garage doors. A Plus Garage Doors addressed all of our many concerns and were extremely patient in accommodating our community. Not only is our building more secure, but their install has increased our curb appeal and property value. It has been a few months since these doors went in and all I’ve heard is relief and gratitude from our condominium community. I highly recommend this company for any larger commercial installs. Living in downtown SLC is wonderful, but definitely presents some unique challenges. A Plus Garage Doors was fantastic at helping us secure our property to adjust with the changing downtown area. I highly recommend and thank your company.

Extremely happy with my experience with A Plus. I had a new set of garage doors (one double and one single) installed. Jordan P. greeted me with a smile and confident attitude. As it turned out his companion couldn't make it to work on the scheduled day of my installation but Jordan chose to do the entire job by himself so I wouldn't have to reschedule. He worked tirelessly the whole day to get my garage completed, what a professional! I couldn't be happier with the look and quietness of my new garage doors and just want to give a shout out to Jordan P for not only his professionalism and knowledge of the work but his "Can Do Attitude" to get the job done even it only by himself. I just replaced my garage door with A Plus for cosmetic reasons and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish it was a great, smooth process. Grant was knowledgeable and patient with me as we explored different door options and price points. Once we confirmed the order Wendy communicated the timeline of the order and helped to schedule the install and then when it was finally installed Cameron and Mitchel knocked it out of the park. They were efficient, professional and did a great job. With the new rollers and tracks I can barely hear the garage opening and closing. Can’t recommend A Plus enough, they did a great job!

Today on Memorial Day my garage door literally falls apart and breaks. I call A+ because they have good word of mouth in my neighborhood. They are at my house within 2 hours of calling….on a Holiday! Luke is my technician and he spends at least 30 minutes explaining to me what all my options are from complete replacement to minor repairs and the detailed cost of everything involved. He could not have helped any better! He was kind, patient and thorough. Ultimately we need to replace the whole door, and I believe I’m in the best hands possible. Highly recommend this company if you need a repair on your garage door.

The lady who answered my phone call was extremely helpful. She tried several easy solutions which I could try. As a tenant, this was a very easy company to work with and they helped us communicate with our landlord/their warranty to get our garage motor fixed promptly. Craig K. was our technician, and was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to repair the main problem within an hour of arriving, once it was approved by the landlord. He also informed us about other potential issues to look out for in the future, since our garage system is old and some other parts are worn out, while they are waiting for further approval by the property owner. We would definitely choose this company if we owned a property, ourselves!

I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently my garage was repaired and refurbished. Sawyer literally showed up the same day I called and finished the job in under 3 hours. I was stunned however that I had to have as much replaced and the related price of the job….but the opener, springs, rollers, and all accessories were very old, so it is what it is. It is now all very new and works perfectly. This is a great business to work with in terms of efficiency and their friendly personalities. Sawyer was very professional and explained what my options were. I highly recommend them.6 months later, and again I called A+ in the evening hours, they took my late call with an actual person yet again. My new garage stopped working.my garage door sensors were misaligned, and my door needed lubricated. They scheduled someone the next day. Jordan arrived, accessed the problem and fixed it. I can’t say enough about how great it is to do business with this company. They know how frustrating it is to have your car trapped in the garage, or worse yet to have your garage open all night and vulnerable to thieves.Great customer service!!

My wife heard a large bang like an explosion or a loud gunshot last night, but we couldn't figure out what it was...until she tried to open the garage door this morning. One of the springs was broken. I called A Plus Garage Door repair this morning hoping to get someone to come look at it some time next week. They were able to schedule Holden to come out today. He was able to come earlier than they had originally scheduled, He looked at the springs and inspected the door and gave us an estimate with different options. Holden was personable and polite, and efficient. He had the supplies to fix the problem today and from the time that he came until the time he was finished was only 1 1/2 hours. He answered all of my questions, and was very patient. So far both the service and the quality have been good. I will be recommending them to people who ask in the future.

Called A Plus this morning for an emergency repair. They had someone here this afternoon who repaired the damaged parts we knew about but also found a number of other items that we needed to have taken care of. The tech took the time to show us the parts that were failing/near the end of useful life. He did not pressure us into an upsell but clearly walked us through the parts that he felt we should consider replacing. Our overhead garage door spring broke one evening after business hours. I requested a quote through A Plus’s website, received a call first thing the next morning, and set up an appointment for a free quote the next day. Less than two hours later a technician called to say he had an opening and could come by in a few minutes. He gave me a quote that was less than half of the same repair we had done to a matching garage door a couple of years earlier by a different company. The technician was prepared to make the repair and did so in about 15 minutes. He was very professional - clean, clear in his explanation, honest, and comfortable to be around. Went to open my garage first thing in the morning, did not work, then I noticed the spring was broken. I have used A-plus in the past called and had service within two hours. Orion was great, went over service options with prices and respected my decision, no hard sell. The best part is what we call "Lagniappe", a Cajun-French word I picked up from living in New Orleans. It means a little extra, something you did not expect. My garage door is original to the house, about 30 years, and it has seen some wear like top panel cross bars separating from the door. Orion on his own initiative and concern for his customer screwed some of the cross bars to the top panel so now the door works better than ever. Thanks Orion, you did a great job!

The first time we used A Plus the service was great because we had a Liftmaster opener. When we called to have another opener serviced (Genie) we weren't asked what brand of opener needed repair but were told the technician had a truck 'fully stocked with parts.' When the technician arrived he said they only carry parts to repair Liftmaster openers because 'Genies break too much.' (Fortunately, we had ordered and received the part necessary for the repair so the technician installed the part and left.) When we scheduled the repair we were told the service call would be "$29.99" but we ended up paying $130 for about 20 minutes work (the technician didn't inspect the spring or other components because 'we don't work on Genies'). If they're only going to service one make of opener they should make that clear in their advertising and when scheduling repairs. They should also make clear of the pricing structure. Needless to say we will look elsewhere when the next repair is needed.UPDATED REVIEW: Got a call this morning from the General Manager (Ryan) asking about our experience and the above review. He was genuinely interested in learning our perception and voluntarily offered to make it a 'win-win.' We had a good conversation and came to an amicable resolution. Although the original review (2 stars) remains accurate we sincerely appreciated Ryan's call and would like to make a 5 star review for the customer care and service. Because of Ryan's call, we will use A Plus as needed in the future.

A very positive experience working with A+ Garage Doors and the service technician, Mitchell. He was thorough, professional, friendly and fast. I scheduled an appointment to have a few problems addressed on two overhead doors by 3 different repair companies. A+ was by far the 5 star company These problems were looked at and a quote provided. Mitchell then offered to inspect the doors for other potential problems. He pointed out some parts that had broke and other potential problems that I was completely unaware of. Mitchell made recommendations and inquired about my budget. We discussed all options, price and the time involved to repair the problem areas. We agreed on a price to repair or replace all issues discussed and the jobs were completed the same day. Never during our conversations did I feel any pressure from the technician. The work was performed with perfection and professionalism and even a couple of little extras were done at no charge. I saw A Plus Garage door's ad for a $35 check up for my garage door on Facebook, and since my 15 year old garage door has been quite squeaky for a long time, I decided to go for it.They responded quickly, scheduled me via Facebook messenger, which was really convenient (Because I hate phone calls), for the very next day. They gave me a convenient 2 hour time window - not 4 hours like a lot of service companies. This told me they were considerate of my time.Then, to top it off, Colin showed up right on time AT THE BEGINNING of my time window. He took a look at my existing garage door and opener, and made reasonable recommendations on how to prolong the life of, and upgrade, the machinery, and what the expected life of it was. But he was not pushy about selling me additional services at all. He performed the service in about 15 minutes, and my garage door sounds significantly better.I could not have asked for a more simple, streamlined, and honest approach. I would highly recommend A Plus, even if you didn't see the Facebook deal.

They installed the original garage door. Still working great after all of these years.I recently foam insulated my double wide garage door. Because of that I needed Lube, Tune-up & Inspection. We have had our garage door for 3 years now installed by A+. We have had many comments and praise about how nice it is. lately the door has been squeaky when opening even after I tried lubricating it. Luke came out and did a great Job pointing out things we needed to keep an eye on. The bottom seal had dragged swore out in one side so we ordered a new seal. Luke was able to quiet the door down. Having the whisper quiet drive it is better not too hear the squeaks an squeal. We love our door and it needed to feel the love. We are happy with this company and recommend them for any garage door work or replacement you may be considering. Ialmost forgot to mention thewoman who answered my call. She was very pleasant and helpful and even offered them current promotional price that I was unaware of. It is great to have quality service at every level. I ended up choosing A Plus Garage Door simply because they were the nearest garage door repair company closest to me. I called at 4:00 pm on a Thursday and told them what was going on and they said they would be out the next day between 1 and 3. I thought sure I will see you at 5:30. I got a call at 10 am the following day and the tech Kasey was on the line and said that he was running ahead of schedule and asked if it was okay to show up early and he was a half hour away. I was amazed and said sure come on down. When Kacey showed up he was clean cut and conducted himself in a professional manner. He asked me a few questions of what the issues were with the garage door. He then jumped right in and began testing functions. About 20 minutes later he had diagnosed the issue and I needed a new motor. The current motor was about 20 years old. He gave me three options all ranging in price. He was very thorough with the options of each new motor and pros and cons of each. He did not try to upsell me on anything and I felt he was very trustworthy. I chose the mid grade option. He had the motor in his truck. It took about 2 hours for him to install and do all the work. He helped me program the outdoor keypad and went through the operations of the door with me and explained everything. He was completely finished by the time he was actually supposed to arrive. This is a professional company with professional techs. Keep up the good work A Plus Garage Door. You earned my future business and recommendation. Kasey you were great. Thank you

Joseph Bowman showed up in a timely manner and was friendly and professional. He fixed my door sensor bracket, rollers, & rubber seal on the bottom of the door. He used quality parts that should last longer and which include warranties. He also respliced the wire for my sensor as it wasn’t looking very good (I wasn’t aware of this). He went above and beyond and I feel more confident in my door as it runs much better now.

I called them at the end of the day on Friday as one of our garage springs had broken. They asked if we could still operate the door and we could so I didn't want an emergency call and emergency pricing so they said someone would be here between 8am and 10am.at 750am I received a call from Mitchell that he was on his way and would be there at 8.He came in and I showed him the problem he said he would get right on it. He checked the entire door out and gave me 3 options to look at as there are a lot of working parts of a garage door we opted for the spring replacement only and he got right to work!By the end of the call it ended up being less than his quoted price as he was able to use a different spring pack after taking the existing springs apart.Who doesn't love less expensive he serviced the door and made sure the opener was okay after several times having to open the broken door.!I highly recommend A+ Garage Door and hopefully Mitchell will be your guy too!

I filled the form out late at night and the next day I had someone reach out to me over text. I appreciate the text as I was in a meeting when it arrived and I didn't have to answer the phone in the middle of it :)Technician - 5 StarsNate was my technician and he is basically an encyclopedia about garage doors and how they are supposed to work. He answered all my questions and showed me wear and tear on the door that I had no idea was even occurring. He was polite and very efficient at his job as wellRepair - 5 StarsSomething I appreciate that A+ Garage Doors does is that they present a range of fixes in all price ranges for those on varying budgets. There was no pressure to pick the most expensive option, but I picked it anyway because my garage door motor was nearly 30 years old. The replacement of all the old parts was done in about 2 hours. The technician, Jeffrey Boyd, was incredibly kind, helpful and informative. He explained all the options for the repair and although it was 5 pm the time we got a definitive answer from the paying party, he stayed and finished the job (almost 9pm on a hot summer day)! I am very happy his this company and the repair work they performed. Jeffrey’s kindness and patience was above and beyond. They clearly hire outstanding employees! Thank you Jeffrey!!!

Customer service is a priority!! After having a new closer installed, I had questions about the features/performance of the new unit. Nolan arrived as scheduled. He answered all my questions and assisted me in loading and learning the Iphone app. He also programmed my car so I didn’t have to use the manual opener! Great job, Nolan and A+ Garage Door!!

A plus was able to come the day that I called. I have used them before and was very pleased! Grover was fantastic to work with. He made sure I understood everything before I agreed to anything and then he made sure I knew how to use all of the features of my new garage door opener. He was very professional and pleasant to work with on a 100 degree day!

Great service. Preston explained what he was going to do (before the service) and then went over the areas that needed fixing after his inspection. Was presented with all the options and didn’t feel at all pressured. Preston was friendly and skilled at his job. Used them in Daybreak and now Heber Valley, A+ is who I will ALWAYS use for my garage door needs.

Had a great experience with A+ today. Tyler and Cam are the best. They fixed our problem very quickly, they were so easy and great to work with. Good customer service feels so hard to come by these days, but not with these guys. Also Hannah in the office was very kind! Thank you, all!!
