Are you launching the game through Frosty Mod Manager? If I recall correctly, you have to do that every time. I personally used the now abandoned DAI Tools Suite, which worked fine for me. Maybe you could consider that route if Frosty isn't working and if your mods support DAI Tools Suite.

Troubleshooting performed so far: I’ve deleted and redownloaded it and nothing, still does it. I even run it as admin and turned off my firewall. Word of Mod Note: The Word of Mod was able to just now successfully connect and download, so you might want to try again just in case it was a temporary inability to connect. Your first step when troubleshooting Mod Manager issues should be to refer to this post which was written by dawnlesssky, one of the brilliant coders who works on developing the DAI Tools Suite used to create all these wonderful mods. Your second step should be to browse through the Mod Manager Troubleshooting sub-forum on the DAI Tools forum to see if someone else has had your problem. Some problems are common enough that a quick perusal will find you an answer to your issue, so please look through that forum first (now that it is in place).
