Item's box is well made and sturdy, however UPS shipping still was able to damage the item. Metal supports that hold the canister were bent. Was able to straighten them and installed it on my Ram 3500. Everything works like it is supposed to and you can't even tell it was damaged in shipping. Would have given this a 5-star rating but shipping and receiving the item in good order is part of the process.

I like the idea of this cover rolling open or closed and the fact it locks when closed. Problem is the plastic guides that push into the aluminum rails do not stay in place. When rolled open and strapped down bouncing down highway the weight of the cover pushes these plastic guides out and allows seal to be damaged and to come out of its grove. I had to insert pieces of wood into the track to hold guides in place at front of track. I pull a 44 ft toy hauler around USA so cover stays rolled open for weeks at a time. The weight of rolled up cover smashes the guide pieces out of place. In the picture that’s paint stir sticks with foil tape on them so they stay dry.

I bought this cover because I have an F1 on my other truck and it has been a good cover. The F1 gets hot but not so hot you can't touch it in the summer. It does a great job of keeping out the weather and thieves. I have just finished installing it on my 2019 Ram 3500 long bed. The factory rails were out of spec by 3/16" so I had to trim them to fit. That is why I only rated it at 4 stars otherwise a very nice bed cover. I have had my other F1 for 7 years and it is still holding up well so I expect similar performance from this one. Being a long bed does make the panels a little more difficult to fold but it is still pretty easy.

Quality addition to my truck-only bad part is the endcaps on each section. They have a habit of popping out of the channel which keeps it open in that section if you don't notice it right away, which allows water to get in as well as catch wind when on expressway. I use gaffers tape to try to mitigate but it does need to be redone on occasion. If this wasn't an issue I would have offered up 5 stars!

The info I received using eTrailer was accurate and complete, as well as the videos they provided for installation......which was very easy and only took about 30 minutes to complete. Since then, the cover has held up well, though the truck has been stored inside most of the time. Soon it will be outside for several months but since the cover is both sturdy and of high quality, I expect no problems. I'm very happy I bought this for my truck.

I love the style and the way it works with my under cover tool box the mounting is great. The only downside is that the cover itself is starting to peal and rip any help with this issue from etrailer would be a great help.

I had some damage. It was a dent in the main box. I went ahead and used it anyway. I didn’t call or ask for return because I needed the cover right away and I messed the box up which would make the return hard to do. This was not etrailers fault. It was a packing issue from Retrax.

I love the cover, very sturdy and has held up very nice for 1 year. The one issue is, I have a long bed Ram and when I fold it up against the cab, it covers the camera for the bed. This is a design flaw and if you use the bed camera when you have a load in the bed and the cover is folded all the way up, you can't use it.

I like the tonneau cover a lot! It's sturdy and helps keep belongings out of sight, out of mind. I had to cut the rail as it was about an inch too long for my truck but besides that the install was easy.

Have to say that this is not the greatest money I've ever spent. I had another one on a short bed and it worked great. This one I have to say is junk the do in the summer leaves just enough water on it that it actually sinks in and leave the puddle on it and it's not very tight it's not very square doesn't fit my bed very well and I'm just not happy with it.

The tonneau cover was easy to install. Took less than a half an hour. The cover does a decent job of keeping things dry. As with any cover there is a little leakage to be expected. Overall the cover did exactly what I purchased it for.

Great website....great reviews....great videos...all very important when we are deciding where to spend our hard earned money!!! The best top tri fold cover is awesome....can't get any better for the money in my opinion!

Ok the cover is great if you use it to secure items in the back but, the down fall is how the system attaches to the Ram trucks. The pressure applied by the bolts for securing the side rails causes the manufacturers bed rails to buckle in the middle which, is minimal if you live in a cold climate but, for the majority, it causes issues. I love the security but I hate what it does to my bed rails.

I bought this cover so when I tow my fifth wheel camper I can open up and still leave a section closed to cover my air compressor and inverter and when I drop the trailer I can cover my hitch and lock it. It works perfectly for my application. Great quality and sturdy.

The Pace Edwards Switchblade has performed well after a year. It's still holding up and is a great way to protect your bed and belongings. I use a slider hitch from Pull-Rite to tow and as long as the upper hitch plate is removed there is absolutely no interference. Also the cover does NOT interfere with towing when it's retracted. I would buy this again and recommend it for its durability and good looks.

It helps to have an individual customer service representative, Terri N is my go to representative for all my etrailer purchasing. Terri follows my orders throughout the process, and follows up after delivery.Ordering the Retrax Pro Xr was not different, I am usually on a timeline and cannot wait weeks for the standard delivery process; the Retrax Pro XR was delivered in less that a week. Two boxes, well packed, and protected arrived, ready for installation. Installation took around 1 1/2 hours, with most of it being done by myself. You will need another body to lift the unit into the truck bed, after that it is an easy process of alignment and anchoring. I had to adjust my rail width, to get under the maximum allowed dimensional tolerance.As the instruction indicated the unit will loosen after a few uses; still requiring some effort to slide it, but that is a good thing.It is very well made, with a clean fit and finish.

great cover looks great,works great. Keeps things in the bed clean and dry. Had it professionally on a brand new ram 2500 last year. It fit perfect. Traded that truck in last week for a 3500 ram. Took thirty minutes to get off the old truck and thirty minutes to get on new truck with my Yakima roof rack still on it. The only thing I would mention is that you lose some bed space. It has about 7" clearance below it at the cab end and is about ten inches deep. I figured that when I bought it but something you should consider.

We purchased the BAK Industries BAKFlip G2 Tonneau Cover for our 2019 Ram 2500. We use this cover for security/keeping the weather off of our camping accessories for our RV. The cover works great and is fairly waterproof. The only issues we have had is the 1st latching cable, most of the time we need to pull the cable release from both sides to release the locking lugs to open. Over-all a good purchase, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a hard cover.

Overall, a good product. This is the third BakFlip I've owned on different trucks. Quality wasn't as good as older units. The wires to release the latches are too long and get trapped inside the cover so you can't reach them. I added pieces of tape to fix this problem. Also, the nylon straps to hold it open are a nice addition but the plastic buckles broke almost immediately. Older units with metal rings for you to attach bungee cords was a better design.As always, etrailer service & delivery are outstanding!

etrailer support is amazing! I received the first top with the top ripped where the snaps attached to the top.After I sent them pictures, they had me send the bad kit back, and right away I received the 2nd kit. Everything went well as you can see in the picture. One person can lower it, deliver tall objects, then raise the top back up without having to remove the top off the support rails.

Overall I love the product and the idea, but I’m not happy with quality and finish. Needs more work to be the product it describes to be.The pros:Ton of space. I can put so much in bed of my truck now. Especially having a fifth wheel hitch in bed of truck, I still have the space to put other things. Great for shopping or leaving stuff in bed and not feel like it will go missing. Still have not camped with it but I look forward to.Able to take apart alone without help like with other bed campers. Takes about 30 min but it can legit be done by one person.Lots of light inside during day. I’m glad I got one with window but at times I wish it was without for more privacy. I’m split on that.If you have a dog it’s great. Also, when you remove windows inside and back you just have roof to protect from sun with tons of air. Super cool.The cons:NOT water proof. If you have things inside that can’t get wet… in rain they will. Leaks everywhere. Not horrible but everything you don't want to get wet will be wet. Still need a water tight tote for clothes and electronics.The walls can not support highway speed. So I had to add broom sticks across frame on indie to give windows support otherwise I feel like they will get sucked in and ripped off.Not sealed. Dirt and dust gets in through the corners of camper. As well that vacuum issue. So the corners of windows and and frame have big gaps where LOTS of dirt gets in. Do not follow anyone on dirt road. Everything inside will have a coat of dirt.If the canvas has no holes on stitching and seals are better it will be a great product. Also, if you have a bedliner (like rihnoliner like I do) forget getting velcro to stick to front for securing to truck. I had to buy a 1”X1” aluminium angle iron and rivet it to bed of truck. Then to that smooth surface I used the velcro tape. That’s only way. I can add picture of that when I get a minute.I thought after it got wet a few times and was on truck for a few months the holes on roof would close up, but they did not. Holes where stitching is leaks water.Overall I still love it, and would buy it again, but quality and build is just not there. I take mine apart once a month to pull my fifth wheel and having the ability to do that alone without help is still worth it for me.

Purchased this BAKFlip for my new 22 RAM Classic 1500. Installation went well, instructions were good to follow, and it fit perfectly. One of the plastic hold down clips had a manufacturer defect with excess plastic mold residue inside the clip that prevented it from properly working. I sent an online warranty claim explaining the problem, and a new clip was sent to me in a reasonable amount of time, and it worked fine. After one year of using the cover, I am very happy with it. Everything functions as it should, and it is very versatile. While it is not 100% watertight, I mostly notice a small amount of leakage around the tailgate seal after washing the truck. Under normal rainy weather, there is no leakage, and we get plenty of rain in the PNW. My four-star rating rather than a 5 star is only because of the manufacturer defect and the curling of one of the rubber cushions on the underside of one of the panels where the adhesive holding it on the edges has not held up under the hot weather (with the black color, when the sun beats down on the cover it gets pretty toasty inside the truck bed with the cover closed). I am thinking that should be an easy fix by applying some good adhesive and taping in place until the adhesive cures. Just haven't gotten around to doing it. Again, really like this cover. Would recommend it to others, and if I ever have a need for one in the future, would definitely not hesitate getting another BAKflip.

This is the 3rd Access cover I have purchased. I feel that the ability to roll it all the way up to the window is the best option, still allowing me full bed access. The sun does its part to beat it up, but regular maintenance keeps it looking good.

I have owned 2 of these covers. Had one on my 2500 that my wife and I liked so put one on my new 3500. I like the convience of being able to open/close the cover with little effort. There is no exposed lock that can be hacked/picked so the only way in is either destroy the metal cover or tailgate. I have been very happy with it and will have one on my next truck.
