Rated 1 out of 5 by shoe from not high density i sell foam for a living. nobody in the industry would ever consider 1.6# urethane "high density." that is on the extreme end of low density foam. i wouldn't consider anything lighter than 5# high density.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bubba from Couch restuffing. DO NOT USE. You will be disappointed I bought this a week ago. It felt really thick and resilient. I used it to restuff a set of couch cushions. It felt much better intitially, upon sitting, but I was kind of concerned at the ease with with I got it stuffed back into the covers. After a week, I see why my subconscious question about the ease of putting back into couch covers came it. It is not yet as bad as the stuff I took out, but it compresses almost to the frame. DO NOT USE THIS FOR COUCHES OR LOVESEATS. This (might) work for a bench type of seat with a solid, rather than a spring base, but I would not recommend at all.

Felt so well that I am replacing the ones in the couch cushions. I can get up and down without struggling. Surprisingly comfortable! And what a bargain I got it for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Future nomad from 40% off was a good deal I thought I needed some thick, high-density foam for a bench seat in my RV. I thought I would check this store. First time there. To my surprise, they had 5" thick sheets in the back of the store. I will have to buy 2 and cut one with an electric knife. They will cut WIDTH but not LENGTH like someone else mentioned. Probably cuz it's too much work? So I will say the foam is FIRM, which I think I like. If anyone knows what to put under it to avoid mold please put in the reviews if you can! Mold can be a problem in RVs so I would like to avoid that. I was happy to see a 40% discount in the store if you donate one dollar to 4-H. That made me very happy. The foam is not wrapped. Luckily I have a cargo van so I had room to transport it home. FYI: store employees did not know it was "high density" which I found odd. Oh well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Me Lee from Low Density, low quality product I purchased to replace my couch cushions as I was recommended by an Upholstery company to do so. I love my couch and dis not want to purchase a new one so this was an alternative for me. I've had the replacement for I'd say 6 months or less and it is horrible. The cushion is worse than the original one which was in the couch since I purchased it back in 2007. It sinks down when I sit on it. For the cost I and description I would expect it to last longer than it has.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rick from Not what I would consider High Density Bought this for a couch cushion replacement based on the "High Density" claim in the title. Felt like it gave more than the cushions that were already worn, so I weighed it. It's density is 1.5. For reference, a relatively cheap couch cushion should be at least 1.8 and then the decent ones start at 2.0 and go up from there. I'm sure it would be fine for other purposes, but not couch cushions.
