Great place to start our Moroccan holiday

I had heard Chefchaouen was worth visiting, but I was wowed by the beauty of the blue city and this riad. Every room was impeccably decorated. The staff met our group's needs immediately and went out of their way to be helpful. The location was perfect...in the midst of shops, eateries, entertainment, and scenic views. The area is hilly so be prepared to walk up and down narrow alleys to get to the hotel...all part of the charm. Special thanks to Mourad, who could not have been more attentive. I would return here...

Nourrbine, met us at the car and took care great care of us throughout our stay. Excellent English, easy access by car and convenient to the Medina and hiking trails. Clean comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Recommend

The place has a great location , maybe 2 minutes to the Kasbah. I had a garden facing room and heard no noise at night. Nice staff and helped with directions, money exchange, baggage, etc. Breakfast was huge but a lot of bakery item. Over hung the table with plates. Fried egg was good but the butter, jelly, olive oil, Goat cheese, olives, etc were to die for. Excellent.

What a find this place was, I was shocked how big the room was and how many facilities it had inside! Really loved this place. Really nice staff and the view from the terrace is incredible. It's such a nice spot to chill after a day of exploring. The location too is ideal, it's 5 mins from the Medina but close to the bus station too and a bit quieter and more spacious that the old town. Breakfast in the room was a bit different, still unsure if I felt a bit awkward but it was a nice touch I suppose!Bed was harder than I would like in all honesty so I didn't sleep too well and the breakfast was very oily. Good job we had our own kitchen so I could paper towel it all down and put it onto another plate!!

Stayed 2 nights as part of very small group tour from UK but even our small bus was not allowed up to the hotel so be prepared to walk(the luggage came by other means) up the hill. View from rear superb.Easy walking to good selection of restaurants,the square,medina, mosques,picturesque streets.Safe area to walk around in the evening and watch the street musicians.Rather noisy. Children playing loudly late at night and packs of barking,roaming dogsBedrooms quite adequate.Clean. Matress really good and firm. If you do not like firm wool stuffed matressess,Moroccan beds not for you!Pool adequate size ,clean and warmed by the sun.Good selection of food at breakfast

The room and the view was impeccable. the rooms were also tidy and the cleaners were always around if anything was needed . It is a great place to relax in with a view of the mountains nearby . I however experienced very bad service from the head of the place at the time . She was a women that had no respect and doesn't understand the concept of manners . As of someone that has experienced the importance of customer service - I have never been treated like this before. The lady was soo arrogant and even told us to leave the hotel late at night if we did not like her service . This is something no one working in hospitality should say and is just not correct . The following day all the hotel guest were complaining at her late night shouting and therefore decided to say I will call the police on all of you . she did not respect us as guests and was very unprofessional and impolite . I forgot the lady's name but as of the time she was the head of the place - she mentioned her studying in Marrakesh - hope this is found useful to narrow her down . I can confirm the hotel was not full at the time due to COVID and all the guests left unhappy due to her lack of hospitality. I do not tend to write bad reviews but this one is needed so she can understand her mistake . apart from this I found no problems with any of the other workers in the hotel

Perfect riad for a place like chefchouen!

I was already in awe of the chefchaouen when i arrived from fez, it is a city that continues to surprise me and it's beauty increases every day!i stayed in chefchaouen for 1 day and 1 night and riad zman was the best choice by far. It's a few minutes walk away from the main square and it's highly unlikely to ever get lost since you just have to walk up the hill of streets and down again. The riad was beautiful very simple room, but very clean and had a fridge!! so you can put drinks in. Air con present for those hot nights in chefchaouen. The manager and staff were friendly and kind always willing to help us and make us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing as well you get a beautiful view of chefchaouen and the beautiful mountains. The people are amazing, the locals are so kind and full of stories.! they're also very helpful. Food is relatively cheap and walking is the best to get by !!! will definitely come back to chefchaouen and will definitely stay it! this place is memorable and will definitely come back to stay and dar zman.
